The 2007 Reichsgraf Von Kesselstatt Kaseler Riesling from the renowned Mosel region is a stunning example of a well-crafted white wine. This Riesling exhibits a light-bodied character, making it incredibly refreshing. With pronounced acidity, it invigorates the palate, balancing the delightful sweetness that is often characteristic of the varietal. The fruit intensity is prominent, showcasing vibrant notes of ripe stone fruits and zesty citrus, which contribute to its overall appeal. Mosel

When it comes to quality Riesling, few places can rival Germany's Mosel region. This sheer-sided valley in Germany parallels the river of the same name and is home to some of the world's steepest vineyards. Riesling grown here is prized throughout the world for its slight sweetness, perfectly balanced by crisp acidity and aromatic floral perfume. Notes of green fruit and Meyer lemon add to the pleasant tang, with mineral touches of wet slate, beeswax and—in some aged examples—even petroleum too. It is all thanks to Mosel's very cool climate. Temperatures in the summer often don't even rise above 65 degrees. This allows for a long growing season, concentrating flavors and creating beautiful acidity.
